What the inspector wrote

An unannounced Required Annual site inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Bardo Baluyot who met with Site Director, Jamie Fuentes. This facility operates a morning and afternoon session from 6:30-8:00am (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) and 6:30-8:00am (Tuesday) and 2:15-6pm (MWThF) and 1:15-6pm (T). There were 12 children in care by the completion of the inspection. LPA reviewed sign in/outs sheets and children's roster. Portable was identified and inspected. There is another portable located at the opposite end of the property belonging to a separate licensed facility for Options. Furniture and equipment were inspected for age appropriateness and its condition. Telephone service, heating, lighting and ventilation were evaluated. Storage space/area for children's belongings was inspected. LPA evaluated general sanitation and cleanliness of facility. Restrooms are located on school campus and shared with school. Availability of indoor drinking water was observed in form of a water jug and cups. Carbon Monoxide/smoke detector were tested and are functioning. Outdoor area and equipment is located on school campus and is shared with the school. Proper shading and fencing is available. No hazards were observed. Outdoor drinking water is provided in form of water jugs and cups. Snack menus were reviewed. Food and snacks were reviewed for availability, quantity and appropriateness to children in care. Food preparation area was inspected. A review of cleaning and food supply storage areas was made. LPA inspected First Aid Kit supplies. Director's First Aid/CPR certification were reviewed and expire 9/2022. This facility provides Incidental Medical Services - IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children\342\200\231s personnel and administrative records. Child's IMS documentation was reviewed and is complete. No Deficiencies were cited at this inspection. No children or staff files were reviewed during today's inspection. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
