What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Susann Sanchez, conducted an unannounced annual required inspection at the above facility on 05/9/2023 at 1:50 PM. LPA met with Shelia Hall, Licensee and guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were 0 children when LPA arrived. Per Licensee, hours of operation will be Monday through Sunday, 12:00 am to 11:59 pm and does not to exceed 24 hour care at one time. Licensee states that she will care for children Infants -13 years of age. At 2:00pm, Licensee informed LPA that she will need to leave the facility to pick up children and after she will be at Meadows Park for outdoor play time. Per Licensee care is provided in the converted garage and the adjacent dining space and kitchen. Off limits areas to children are all three bedrooms and master bath. Children use the bathroom located in the converted garage. Children are taken to the Meadows Park for outdoor play. There were no dogs or cats on the premises. Licensee has a barricaded fireplace in the living room. Per Licensee there are no weapon or firearms at the facility. LPA toured the off-limit backyard because Licensee would like to start using the backyard soon. LPA observed a hot tub/jacuzzi in the backyard and was covered. Licensee informed LPA that hot tub/jacuzzi is currently getting drained. Per Licensee hot tub/jacuzzi is getting removed and soon after will have a replacement. LPA reminded Licensee that hot tubs/jacuzzis need to always meets Licensing requirements even if its an "off limit" area. At 2:30 left and to start report. At 3:20pm, LPA met Licensee at Meadows Park to read report and collect signature. LPA will return at a later date to complete annual inspection.
