What the inspector wrote

Information from complainant indicates the facility is not preventing children in care from being bullied. Staff interviews made no disclosures regarding the above allegation. Staff #2 states there have been situations with a parent whose child is accident prone. Staff #3 states that the same parent has had concerns of their child being bullied following an accidental injury but there has been no observed bullying by children, from any staff member. Staff state that there was no malicious intent behind the accidental injury to child. Children made no disclosures regarding the allegation. Parents made no disclosures regarding the allegation. Based upon the evidence as presented above, this agency has investigated the allegation above and has determined that the allegations are Unsubstantiated. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are unsubstantiated. No deficiencies are being cited for the allegations listed above The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) \342\200\223 must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Exit interview was conducted with assistant director Annaliese Miller. Copy of report provided. Appeal rights provided and explained END OF REPORT PAGE 2 of 2

    REPORTING REQUIREMENTS

    Upon the occurrence, during the operation of the child care center of any of the events specified in (d)(1) below, a report shall be made to the Department by telephone or fax within the Department's next working day and during its normal business hours. This erquirement was not met evidenced by the fact that the facility did not report an incident that occurred at the center on 07/07/22 within 24 hours. This is a potential risk to children in care.
