What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Susann Sanchez conducted an unannounced case management - lead exceedance inspection at the above facility. There were four children with four staff present. LPA discuss with the facility water lead test results sampled on 06/12/25. Results show that a water source in the facility had Action Level Exceedance (ALE) of lead. The (L) sink faucet and (K) water fountain located in the snack bar , (inaccessible to children in care) had a lead result of 6.5 parts per billion (ppb). A result with values of 5.5 parts per billion (ppb) or greater shall be deemed an Action Level Exceedance in accordance with the Lead Testing Written Directives section 101700.3 subsection (b)(1). Riley Noa, Rec Assistant 3 & Pat Camacho, of Parks & Recs Center Supervisor, the sink and fountain located in the snack bar (not attached to afterschool program) was tested in error, not part of the facility. Children have never had access and detached snack bar. Snack bar is only open during youth games by volunteers. Parks & Recs did change the fixtures in the sink and the water fountain was removed. LPA took pictures. LIC 9275 Extrernal Water Sampler Self - Certification Form, LIC 9276 Child Care Center Sampling Checklist Form, and LIC Facility Sketch was submitted on 06/20/25 via email. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Facility Representative Pat Camacho. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
