What the inspector wrote

At 02:15 p.m. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced POC (Plan of correction) inspection to ensure the Type B deficiencies cited on 04/03/23 have been cleared. LPA met with the substitute teacher who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. This is a State Preschool program licensed for 22 children. The facility consists of one classroom with an AM program 09:00am-12:00pm and PM program 01:00pm-04:00pm. Per the lead teacher, there are 31 children enrolled. The following was observed: -Facility completed the required lead test and results revealed there are no Action Level Exceedance (ALE). LPA provided a copy of the lead sampling report and advised facility representative that the report must be posted on the licensing board. - LPA observed the facility removed the rose bush and two playhouses with cracks. LPA cleared deficiency and issued a POC clearance letter. At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Therefore, no deficiencies are being cited. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the substitute teacher Blanca Zazueta.
