What the inspector wrote

On 05/06/2026 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mariah Aguirre conducted an unannounced Case Management Inspection to the above facility. The purpose of the inspection was to follow up on a UIR submitted by the facility on 04/28/2026. The Incident Report was submitted in a timely manner. While conducting the inspection, it was disclosed during interviews that a staff member who has fingerprint criminal record clearance for the preschool license at the facility, does not have fingerprint criminal record clearance for the school age license. Staff disclosed that the staff member conducts bus pick up and drop off for school age children. While conducting the inspection, LPA MAguirre did not observe the individual to have fingerprint clearance under the school-age license. As a result, one type B citation is being issued. Based on LPA observations and record review the following deficiencies listed on the attached LIC809D (deficienct page) are being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Deficiencies that are being cited need to be cleared to protect the children's health and safety. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Maricruz Flores.
