This requirement is not being met as evidenced by: Based on the investigation conducted, LPA discovered that Licensee and her husband went on vacation and were out of town during period 10/3/23 - 10/13/23 and during their absence, there were two uncleared adults (Staff 1 and Staff 2) working at the facility and providing care and supervision to children in care. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

OPERATION OF A FAMILY CHILD CARE HOME
The licensee shall be present in the home and shall ensure that children in care are supervised at all times. When circumstances require the licensee to be temporarily absent from the home, the licensee shall arrange for a substitute adult to care for and supervise the children during his/her absence. Temporary absences shall not exceed 20 percent of the hours that the facility is providing care per day. This requirement is not being met as evidenced by: The Director was on vacation and out of town during period 10/3/23 - 10/13/23. This exceeds 20 percent of the hours that the facility is providing care per day. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
