Correction check·July 15, 2025

On 07/15/2025 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Mary Silva conducted an unannounced POC (Plan of Correction) inspection to ensure that the Type B deficiencies cited on 05/09/2025 have been cleared. LPA met with director Brenda Garcia whom the reason for the inspection was explained. LPA was guided on a tour of the facility. Census was taken. LPA observed 19 children playing in the outdoor area with two teachers. The following was observed: - Staff #1 and Staff #2 have a complete health screening report in the file - Staff #3 has an incomplete health screening report in the file - Child #1 and Child #2 are no longer enrolled and did not complete physicians report and immunizations - Staff #2 have the required immunizations on file - The material used to absorb a fall under the swings in the preschool playground was found to be in place - Two windows facing the north side of the facility in the preschool classroom have been replaced LPA advised the licensee how to access forms, regulations and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing Website at: www.ccld.ca.gov Based on the LPA observations and records review, the following deficiencies listed on the attached LIC 809D (deficiency page) are being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Deficiencies that are being cited need to be cleared to protect the children’s health & safety. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Appeal rights were given. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with director Brenda Garcia.
