What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Cynthia Reyes conducted an unannounced case management inspection on this date. This inspection is to ensure the health and safety standards as required by the regulations, Title 22, child care centers are met for this Preschool program. LPA met with Ana Lopez- Teacher, who the inspection was gone over and a tour of the facility was conducted. Director Brenda arrived back to the site as she was already off for the day. During the walk through of the facility on 03/11/2026 with Director Brenda Garcia, LPA and Director Brenda observed the following citation. (Citation cited on this date due to lack of time on the other date listed) LPA and Director observed when you open the exit emergency door in the back preschool class room, there is a square piece of fake grass and it was observe to have cat feces all over it. (Photos were taken). This is a citation due to in case of emergency the preschool children will use that area for an emergency escape route and is a violation of a child personal rights if they are to step or touch the cat feces observed in that area. Based on the LPA observations, the following deficiency listed on the attached LIC 809D (deficiency page) is being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Deficiencies that are being cited need to be cleared to protect the children’s health and safety. A "B" citation is given as it is only an emergency exit and not used every day. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director Brenda Garcia
