What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Nolan Tcheng and Priscilla Ochoa conducted an unannounced Case Management-Other inspection for the purposes of conducted annual file review. Upon arrival at 11:15am, LPAs met with Licensee Maria Solano, to whom the purpose of the inspection was explained. Tour of the facility was provided. Census was taken. There were 7 children with 2 staff members. File review was conducted on two staff and seven children. Children's files were observed to be complete. During review of Staff files, LPA observed that Licensee's Pediatric CPR/First Aid had an expiration date of 08/2023. Licensee's Assistant is present and has a current Pediatric CPR/First Aid certificate. Per licensee, Assistant is present during the beginning of operation till close. Advisory Note is being provided to address Licensee's CPR/First Aid. Licensing Staff observed that immunizations for staff were not present during file review. LPAs discussed the requirement to keep copies of immunization for Pertussis, Measles, Influenza, and Tuberculosis on file at the facility. Mandated Reporter Child Care Provider (AB1207) Training was observed to need renewal for staff. LPA discussed with Licensee the requirement to renew the training every two years. The deficiencies listed on the following pages were observed by the LPA and are being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Please see attached LIC 809D for deficiencies that are being cited and need to be cleared to protect the children\342\200\231s health & safety. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee Maria Solano. Plan of corrections was developed and copy of Report provided. END OF REPORT
