What the inspector wrote

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Evelyn Garcia conducted a case management inspection for the purpose to assess the health and safety of the children in care. During the inspection, LPA Garcia observed a room that was previously noted as off-limits, was now being used as an additional day care play room. The licensee was required to notify the department of any changes to the sketch or whether any rooms were now "on-limits" to the children. During the inspection, LPA Garcia also observed a garage that was converted into a accessory dwelling unit (ADU). The licensee stated that her adult daughter lived in the ADU. The licensee will provide LPA Garcia with the inspection report from the local building inspector as a result of the addition made to the facility's premises. The licensee has been cited a Type B Violation for the following: Health and Safety Code 102416.3(a)(6) See 809-D for deficiency cited. An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report and a notice of site visit report was provided to the facility.

This requirement was not met by: Based upon interview and observation, licensee stated she now uses the room for child care purposes (playroom).
