102416.2 Reporting Requirements(3) Health and Safety Code Section 1597.467(b)(1) provides in part: "A report shall be made to the Department…following the occurrence during the operation of a family day care home of any of the following events:B) Any injury to any child that requires medical treatment. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on interview with licensee that she was aware that a child received medical attention due to an injury that occurred in the home but did not report to the Department. This poses a potential Health and Safety Risk to children in care.

102417 Operation of a Family Child Care Home (d) The home shall provide safe toys, play equipment and materials. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on interviews with licensee, staff #1 and record review that child who was 1 years old was hurt due to jumping on beanbag chair that was not age appropriate. This poses a potential Health and Safety Risk to children in care.
