What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) conducted a Case Management - Incident inspection in regards to the unusual incident that allegedly happened between 10/25/2021-12/9/2021 and was reported to the facility on 12/10/2021. LPA met with Cristina Angelo, Lead Teacher and stated the purpose of the visit is due to Unusual Incident which was self reported on 12/13/2021 by lead teacher Cristina Angelo to Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD). The Unusual Incident was reported within the required 24 business hours time frame per Title 22. Prior to this visit, LPA interviewed over the phone the reporting party, and 5 facility staff. During today's inspection, LPA interviewed 4 children. LPA toured the center with Ms. Angelo to include preschool playground, 3 preschool classrooms and bathrooms. LPA observed 27 children with 9 staff at the facility. Per Ms. Angelo, there are 3 teachers and 6 aides. Various interviews have revealed that there are no witnesses to the alleged violation of personal rights of Child #1 (C1). All staff interviewed denied that they violated any child's personal rights. The reporting party stated there were no marks or bruising on C1 and declined to have C1 to be interviewed. C1 is no longer attending the center. According to school Principal Chris Aleman, the incident was reported to the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and was taken as consultation and was advised that there's no need to report it to law enforcement. No report was provided by DCFS. There were no deficiencies cited during today\342\200\231s inspection. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Ms. Angelo.
