What the inspector wrote

On January 29, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Staicy Perry conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection at the above facility. LPA met with licensee, Alma Contreras who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. LPA observed 11 children in care. Also present in the home was licensee's spouse and 3 assistants who are fingerprint cleared and associated to the facility. Per licensee, their are currently 16 children enrolled. The purpose of the inspection is to follow up on the (1) Type B deficiency that was cited on 01/26/2026 For regulation 1596.8662(b)(1) which states that, on or before March 30, 2018, a person who, on January 1, 2018, is a licensed child day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training provided pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3) of subdivision (a), and shall complete renewal mandated reporter training every two years following the date on which he or she completed the initial mandated reporter training. LPA Perry did review and obtain a copy of mandated reporter training for Matthew Conteres. A Letter of Deficiency Citations Cleared was provided to the facility. Per regulations, the letter must be kept on file for three years and made accessible to the public upon request. LPA observed the licensee to be in compliance with Title 22 regulation, no deficiencies will be issued on this date. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and must be posted for 30 days. Exit interview was conducted and a copy of the report was provided to the licensee, Alma Contreras. Appeal rights were provided.
