What the inspector wrote

On 4/16/25 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alicia Mooberry conducted an unannounced Case Management Inspection. Upon arrival LPA met with Facility Representative. LPA observed 7 infants napping (3 infants napping in cribs and 4 infants napping on mats.) Infants were supervised by Staff #1. LPA observed 3 out of 3 infants napping in the cribs had blanks over their body as they napped (photo taken). This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care. Staff 1 removed the blankets from the cribs. LPA reminded Staff #1 to follow Safe Sleep regulation for the health and safety of children in care LPA provided Safe Sleep technical assistance to Assistant Director and reviewed PIN 20-24-CCP. The facility is cited 1 B deficiency in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview was conducted with Facility Representative Jocelyn Luna. Appeal Rights were discussed and provided.
