Facility-requested visit·November 25, 2025

On 11/25/25 at 3:00 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Lilli Babcock conducted a Case Management- Licensee Initiated Inspection for the purpose of a capacity decrease. This facility is currently licensed as a preschool program with a capacity of 98 children from ages 2 until entry into first grade in classrooms 2, 3, 4, and 6. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director, Lupe Garcia, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Director guided LPA on a tour of the facility. Census was taken. There were no children or staff in rooms 2 or 4. Room 6 is currently not being used due to low enrollment. LPA observed nine children being cared for by one staff in room 3. During the visit all indoor classrooms and outdoor activity space for children were inspected. The Licensee, Cornerstone Preschool is requesting to decrease the capacity of the preschool license from 98 children to 60 children, ages 2 until entry into first grade in classrooms 2, 3, 4, and 6. No classrooms are being added or removed from the license, only the capacity is decreasing. Fire clearance was granted on 11/18/25 for the capacity of 60 children in rooms 2, 3, 4, and 6. No corrections are needed at this time; an updated license will be sent to the facility reflecting the new total capacity of 60 children upon final review. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Lupe Garcia. Page 1 of 1
