What the inspector wrote

On April 2, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Staicy Perry conducted an unannounced case management inspection to follow up on a Plan of Correction related to a Type B deficiency issued on 2/7/2026, under Title 22, Regulations, 101238(a) Buildings and Grounds, (a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. A census was taken and LPA observed 19 children in care. Susie Sayeah, Director was out for the day and Assistant Director, Ana Venture assisted with the inspection. Currently facility is on sprig break and open to those families who need care during the spring break week. LPA Perry obtained a declaration from director on 2/7/2026 stating that the children will not be using the play structure until it is repaired and or replaced. Facility director did submit photos of play structure that has been repaired via email to LPA Perry. During todays inspection LPA Perry did observe the lay structure to be repaired and in good repair. A Declaration was obtained also obtained on facilities plan when play structure is being used during hot days since play structure is metal and may become hot at the touch during days where temperatures rise. Per facility director play structure has been there since school was licensed in 2013 and even prior. Based on LPAs observations, the deficiency cited on 2/7/2026, has been cleared. LPA Perry provided the facility with a Letter of Deficiency Citations Cleared. This letter must be retained on file for three (3) years and made accessible to the public upon request, according to Division 12, Chapter 1 Regulations. No deficiencies were observed during today’s visit. LIC 9213 (Notice of Site Visit) was issued and must be posted for 30 days. Appeal rights have been provided. Exit interview conducted with facility Assistant Director, Ana Ventura.
