What the inspector wrote

On 02/04/2026 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mariah Aguirre conducted an unannounced Case Management- Incident inspection at the above facility to gather additional information due to an incident report that occurred on 01/06/2026 and was reported to the Department on 01/07/2026. LPA met with Director Harvinderpal Vaghela who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. During the inspection LPA toured the area where the incident occurred and obtained a current children facility roster as well as additional documentation pertaining to the reported incident. Per Director, there are 18 children enrolled in the infant program. Census was taken and LPA observed 12 children in care with 6 staff. On January 7th 2026, an incident was self reported to the Department via phone by the facility who reported that Child #1 (C1) experienced a medical emergency that required paramedic transport to a nearby hospital. All reports were reported within the required 24 hour time frame. The purpose of the inspection was to obtain additional information regarding the incident reported to the Department. Interviews were conducted with staff 1-4. C1 was unable to interview as they are non-verbal.During interviews with staff, it was disclosed that all staff involved in the incident followed the facility's medical emergency protocol and followed what was instructed of them by the paramedic over the phone. All reporting requirements were met. There are no deficiencies being cited at this time. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
