What the inspector wrote

CASE-MANAGEMENT INSPECTION CONDUCTED IN ARMENIAN Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Anomeh Eivazian conducted an unannounced case-management inspection to the above facility on 09/22/2023 due to licensee is changing her facility sketch and daycare rooms. LPA arrived at the facility at 12:00 PM and met with Gayane Chilingaryan, Licensee who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. LPA obtained an updated facility sketch. This is a one story located on the first level. The home consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room (FIREPLACE: inaccessible), den, garage, front yard and backyard (fenced). The children use the one bedroom, one bathroom located between den and bedroom, den (activity room), living room, dining room and fenced backyard. Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: 1 bedroom, one bathroom in the hallway, kitchen, front yard and garage. LPA did not observe any stairs in the home during this inspection. Per licensee, parents enter the home through the side gate which leads to the backyard and den (activity area). All areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. At 12:05 p.m., Licensee took this LPA on a tour of the home. LPA was toured through the interior starting with the living room, LPA observed sofas and a coffee table in the living room. LPA observed a fireplace in the living room which has been blocked off to prevent access. Next LPA toured the dining room and observed a dining table and chairs in the dining room. Next LPA toured the den (activity room). LPA observed a child safety gate was installed to the den entrance door which leads to the living room. LPA observed four infants were napping in the den. LPA observed two infants in pack n' play and two infants on the cots. LPA observed children toys, tables and chairs in the den (activity room). Next LPA toured the one daycare bedroom adjacent to the den and observed children toys in the bedroom. Next LPA toured the daycare bathroom which is located between den and daycare bedroom and there are two doors in the REPORT CONTINUES ON NEXT PAGE 1 of 2 bathroom which leads to the den and daycare bedroom. LPA observed child proof safety latches on the cabinet under the sink where licensee stores cleaning compounds. Next LPA toured the kitchen and observed a child safety gate was installed to the kitchen to make the kitchen inaccessible. There is a door in kitchen which leads to the backyard. Per licensee she keeps the kitchen door toward the backyard closed all the times. Per licensee, she keeps the off-limit bedroom door and off-limit bathroom door located in the hallway closed all the times. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medications, and other items which could pose a danger to children were observed to be inaccessible to children. An updated facility sketch was provided to LPA during this inspection. At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Title 22 Regulations. Therefore, there are no citations being issued today from the areas that were inspected today. The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee, Gayane Chilingaryan at 1:10 p.m..
