What the inspector wrote

On May 7, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Staicy Perry conducted an unannounced case management inspection to follow up on a Plan of Correction related to a Type A deficiency issued on 4/24/2026, under Title 22, Regulations 101226(e)(3)(B) Health-Related Services, (3) Prescription medications may be administered if all of the following conditions are met: (B) For each prescription medication, the licensee shall obtain, in writing, approval and instructions from the child's authorized representative for the administration of the medication to the child. LPA Perry met with the facility Director Yvonne Hernandez, Director upon arrival. A census was taken and LPA Perry took a census was taken and LPA observed 44 children in care. LPA reviewed and obtained documentation for (1) Type A violation, Title 22 Regulations. Director Yvonne Hernandez provided LPA Perry with Incidental Medical Services Plan (IMS plan) for C#1. Based on documentation review, LPA observations and visual documentation received, the deficiency cited on 4/24/2026, has been cleared. LPA Perry provided the facility with a Letter of Deficiency Citations Cleared. This letter must be retained on file for three (3) years and made accessible to the public upon request, per Division 12, Chapter 1 Regulations. No deficiencies were observed during today’s visit. LIC 9213 (Notice of Site Visit) was issued and must be posted for 30 days. Appeal rights have been provided. Exit interview conducted with Director Yvonne Hernandez.
