What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Cynthia Reyes conducted an unannounced POC (Plan of Correction) inspection to ensure that the deficiencies cited on 03/10/2026, have been cleared. This inspection is to ensure the health and safety standards as required by the regulations, Title 22 for a family child care home is met. LPA met with Sandra Bruno, Licensee who provided a tour of the day care indoors and out. LPA observed 11 children in care with the licensee and her assistant Jenny. Also present in the home on this date was licensees, husband Donald, daughter Valerie, and mom Beverly. LPA observed the following citations listed below have been corrected: -Licensee states will send proof of staff Pediatric First Aid and CPR certificate DONE 03/24/2026. -Fire extinguisher DONE 03/10/2026 -Mandated reporter staff DONE 03/18/2026 -Licensee states will send a copy of her staff LIC 501 Personnel record DONE 05/14/2026 -Child # 1/2/4/5/6 are missing the affidavit of liability insurance DONE -Infants in care do not have a LIC 9227 on file DONE LPA observed the following citations listed below have not been corrected : -Licensee is missing proof of immunization's (MMR/TB/FLU). )Licensee states her MMR doctor appointment is June 10, 2026) -Staff does not have proof of immunization's (Need proof by 05/29/2026) -Children do not have proof of immunization's from their doctor. (Need proof by 05/29/2026) Page 2 Letter of Deficiency Citations Cleared was provided for the deficiencies corrected. Licensee stated to LPA that she may close her day care due to her not wanting to ask for the children's immunization's. Licensee states will inform LPA by the POC date of 05/29/2026. The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was provided to License e Sandra Bruno.
