What Happened
LPA completed a required 3-year inspection of the family child care home and found most health and safety systems in place, including operable detectors and compliant sleep equipment. A child file was missing immunization proof, and the fire extinguisher did not have current proof of annual service available.
Observations
- Child C1 was missing proof of immunizations
- The fire extinguisher had service tag information from 2022-07-11, but current proof of annual service was not available
- The home provided infant care with cribs free of loose articles and proper bedding
- The children use the fenced backyard and recreation room for play
