Information from the complainant indicates that Staff #2 is rough with the children and yells at the children in care. Per complainant, children are left unattended and not cared for when they are crying. Director states that they have not witnessed any staff member handling a day-care child in a rough manner or speaking to children in a mean or inappropriate way. Director has not had to speak to any staff member regarding how they discipline children at the facility. Per director, if a child is crying, staff makes sure to comfort the child and says they give the child “100% care.” Staff interviews made no disclosures regarding the above allegations. Children were unable to be interviewed during course of investigation due to being nonverbal age. Parent interviews made no disclosures regarding the above allegations. Based upon the evidence as presented above, this agency has investigated the allegation above and has determined that the allegation is Unsubstantiated. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. No deficiencies are being cited for the allegations listed above Exit interview was conducted with Director Jasmine Kouyoumdjian, at 10:50am, including, but not limited to Provider Rights, Appeal Procedures and Agency’s Consultative Role. The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative.
