Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lilli Babcock conducted an unannounced POC (plan of correction) inspection to ensure that the Type B deficiencies cited on 5/14/24 have been cleared. A COVID risk assessment was conducted. LPA met with Director, Bhagya Wijewardane, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Director guided LPA on a tour of the facility. LPA observed 21 children and 2 staff present during this inspection. The following was observed: LPA observed the rubber padding has been repaired in the holes in the outdoor play yard. Director provided LPA with a letter given to parents regarding the importance of signing children in and out of the facility daily. LPA reviewed sign in and out sheets for the last few days and observed them to be complete. Licensee wishes to change the name of the director for the facility. LPA discussed the necessary documents with Licensee. LPA advised the Director how to access forms, regulations and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing Website at: www.ccld.ca.gov . LPA cleared the deficiencies on this date and provided a copy of the Licensing Report to Director, Bhagya Wijewardane. LPA also issued POC clearance letters to Director during the visit. At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Therefore, no deficiencies are being cited. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Bhagya Wijewardane.
