What the inspector wrote

At 2:48 p.m. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced POC (Plan of correction) inspection to ensure the Type B deficiency cited on 06/30/23 has been cleared. LPA met with Maria Patrick, licensee who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. There were 06 children present during the inspection and 1 assistant. The following was observed: -Licensee and assistant do not have proof of the Mandated Reporter Training AB1207 LPA advised the licensee how to access forms, regulations and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing Website at: www.ccld.ca.gov . The following deficiencies were cited in accordance with Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations and Health & Safety Codes. Please see 809D for documentation of deficiencies. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Maria Patrick.

  • ARTICLE 2. Administration of Child Day Care Licensing

    (1) On or before March 30, 2018, a person who, on January 1, 2018, is a licensed child day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training provided pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3) of subdivision (a), and shall complete renewal mandated reporter training every two years following the date on which he or she completed the initial mandated reporter training.This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Licensee and assistant have not taken the Mandated Reporter Training AB1207.
