Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

At 12:54 p.m. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced POC (Plan of correction) inspection to ensure the Type A deficiency cited on 09/26/25 has been cleared. LPA met with Carina Perez who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were 04 children present during the inspection (1 infant and 3 preschoolers). Also present was the licensee's assistant/daughter Tania Perez Higareda. The following was observed: -LPA observed the licensee is operating within the capacity of the small license. Licensee submitted via text message a written declaration and an updated children's roster to LPA on 10/03. Per licensee's written statement, child 7 (C7) was disenrolled on 09/29 and the children's roster was updated which now reflects a total of 11 children enrolled. Licensee also stated that they will ensure that school age children are enrolled/ attending school and present at the facility when there are more than 6 children in care. -LPA observed that all parents completed the LIC 9224. LPA cleared the deficiency and issued a POC clearance letter. At this time, the facility is in compliance with California Title 22 Regulations. Therefore, there are no deficiencies being issued today. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with licensee Carina Perez. Page 1 of 1
