What the inspector wrote

POC INSPECTION CONDUCTED On March 4, 2026, at 1:08 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) A. Carter conducted a Plan of Correction (POC) inspection and met with Adriana Jimenez, the Licensee. LPA was taken on a guided tour of the facility. LPA observed 1 infant child in care. The purpose of the POC inspection was determine if Licensee has corrected the deficiency cited on 01/30/26. LPA determined the following: LPA observed 2 out of 2 staff members have completed the required Mandated Reporter Training with certificates dated 02/27/26. LPA observed 2 out of 2 required pool safety equipment. Life ring with minimum exterior diameter of 17 inches and rescue pole with body hook with minimum fixed length of 12 feet observed mounted to the shed in gated pool area. LPA observed entry stairs for above-ground pool were stored across from pool preventing access, making pool inaccessible. The pool is fully fenced in by a metal self-latching gate that is at least 60 inches and does not restrict the view of the pool. The gate to the pool is kept locked and you need a key to access. Pool safety checklist was available and reviewed during visit. LPA observed pool alarm that meets ASTM International Standard F2208. Alarm will sound upon detecting entrance into the water, tested by Licensee during the inspection visit. Therefore, based on LPA observations and record review, POC has been cleared. No deficiencies will be cited today 3/4/26. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100 . Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Adriana Jimenez, the Licensee.
