What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lilli Babcock conducted an unannounced POC (plan of correction) inspection to ensure that the Type A deficiency cited on 3/7/23 has been cleared. A COVID risk assessment was conducted and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) was used by LPA. LPA met with Director, Maribeth Peralta, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Director, guided analyst on a tour of the facility. There were 26 children present during this inspection. The following was observed: · The 5 teachers present during today’s visit had criminal background checks on file. · The 2 teachers who did not have eligible clearance during the last visit (staff 1 and staff 2) are either cleared and associated to the facility, or per director will not be present without being cleared and associated to the facility. LPA advised the licensee how to access forms, regulations and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing Website at: www.ccld.ca.gov . LPA cleared the deficiency on this date and provided a copy of the Licensing Report to Maribeth Peralta. LPA also issued POC clearance letter during the visit. At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Therefore, no deficiencies are being cited. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Maribeth Peralta. Page 1 of 1
