What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lilli Babcock conducted an unannounced POC (plan of correction) inspection to ensure that the Type B deficiencies cited on 11/26/24 have been cleared. A COVID risk assessment was conducted. LPA met with Director, Maribeth Peralta, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Director guided analyst on a tour of the facility. LPA observed seven (7) staff caring for 26 children upon arrival. The following was observed: · LPA received a procedure for playground supervision. · LPA received an agenda for a training for staff regarding facility diapering procedure. · LPA received a declaration stating the facility will no longer combine the Toddler and Infant Classes. LPA cleared the deficiency on this date and provided a copy of the Licensing Report to Director, Maribeth Peralta. LPA also issued POC clearance letter to Director during the visit. No deficiencies are being cited for the Plan of Correction Visit. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Maribeth Peralta.

This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on video footage received, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as children were observed not being treated in a safe, comfortable manner which poses/posed an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
