Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lilli Babcock conducted a Case Management-Deficiencies visit on 7/23/25 to address deficiencies revealed during a complaint investigation. LPA met with Academic Director, Rosalie Guzman. Census was taken. There were thirteen (13) children and four (4) staff present in the Infant Classroom and eleven (11) children with three (3) staff present in the Toddler Classroom. On 4/10/25 LPA Babcock visited the infant and toddler rooms to conduct a complaint inspection for the infant license. Director and LPA reviewed one hour of facility video camera footage from 10:00 am - 11:00 am on 4/10/25 for the Infant Room and Toddler Room. LPA observed during the review of video footage on 4/10/25 that children in the Toddler Room (Room 1) sat on the carpet area for "Circle Time" for the period from 10:00 am - 10:49 am. The Toddler Daily Schedule given to LPA by Director shows "Circle Time" from 9:30 am to 10:00 am, which is not what was observed to have occurred on 4/10/25. A Technical Advisory was given to Academic Director. No deficiencies are being cited at this time. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Academic Director, Rosalie Guzman.
