What the inspector wrote

On 8/29/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tyler Reyes arrived at the above licensed facility to conduct a POC inspection to follow up on the citations that were cited on 08/7/25. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee Maria Hernandez and observed (5) children in care. LPA reviewed the following : Fire Extinguisher: LPA observed fire extinguisher located in the kitchen with a purchase receipt of 8/9/25. Family Child Care Homes are required to maintain a new or serviced fully charged fire extinguisher which is at least a 2A:10BC annually. Pool: LPA observed a locked pool gate. LPA observed a life ring approved by the United States Coast Guard and a rescue pole with a body hook readily available. Upon record review LPA observed A Pool Safety Checklist last date of entry 8/29/25. Staff Files: Upon record LPA observed Licensee Mandated Reporter Training Certificate - Completed 8/25/25. No deficiencies were observed during today's visit. Exit interview was conducted and a copy of the report was given to Licensee Maria with appeal rights. A clearance letter of the deficiency was given and a notice of site visit must remain posted for 30 days.
