On 12/10/25 at 12:30pm, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Kamile Martin Conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility. A risk assessment was conducted upon entry. LPA met with Licensee Marisol Adame Spanish Speaker, who led LPA on a tour of the facility. There was 2 child present upon arrival and licensee in the home. Per Licensee, there is currently 14 children enrolled. A current children\342\200\231s roster was available for review. This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 1-bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, backyard (fenced) front yard, with a 2 car garage. The children use the bathroom in the hallway, living room and backyard as noted in the facility sketch initially submitted. Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: 3 bedrooms, front yard kitchen, dining room, and garage The LPA toured all areas used by children during this visit. Hours of operation are Monday- Friday 6:00am-6:00Pm. All areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. Per Licensee there are NO firearms in the home. Bodies of water were not observed at this facility. Licensee is in compliance with title 22 regulations. The following was observed and reviewed during this inspection. Cleaning compounds, and medications were observed to be inaccessible to children. Per licensee, there are no poisons kept in the home. The restroom that children use was observed to be safe and sanitary. There is telephone service via cellphone. The home is observed to be clean and orderly with central ac and heat. No fireplace was observed in the home. Licensee provides breakfast and snack. There are toys available for children. There are first aid supplies available. Licensee has no animals. Licensee does provide drop off and pick up services for school age children. LPA observed the following required posted documentation in the main entry way of the facility: Facility License, (LIC) 9148- Earthquake Preparedness form, Publication (PUB) 394- Notification of Parent Rights, Licensing Form LIC 9040- Facility Roster and the Car Seat PUB as well. LPA observed a fire extinguisher missing receipt.Per Licensee is was newly purchased at home depot she will submit the receipt to LPA via text. LPA advised licensee that fire extinguisher needs to be serviced every year or purchased every year and retain the receipt. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were tested and are operable. All homes shall conduct fire and disaster drills at least once every six months and document the date and time of each drill. Last drill was conducted in 9/25. Smoking is prohibited in a licensed Family Childcare Home. Per Licensee, no one smokes in the of the home. Currently, children are using the back yard for outdoor play time . The outdoor play area was observed to be fenced. LPA observed the outdoor yard to have appropriate toys and other materials for children to use . LPA did not observe objects that can pose a danger to children in the outdoor yard. The licensee is observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations. Children and adults records were reviewed, including emergency information. Per licensee, she has no personnel employee but will hire staff soon as she complet mandated reporter and CPR she has fingerprints for staff but she has not begun working yet. Licensee does have current Mandated Reporter AB 1207 Training Certificate expires1/27 licensee is in compliance with title 22 regulations. No citations are being cited at this time. Licensee \342\200\230s CPR is current and expires 6/26. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see PIN 22- 02-CCP. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with licensee and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-andresources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed licensee of the importance of checking for and removing any recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. Megan\342\200\231s Law - During the exit interview, Marisol Adame , confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and LPA completed the RSO profile in FAS. Licensee was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.
