What the inspector wrote

On 03/18/2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Kruz Long and Priscilla Ochoa conducted an unannounced case management inspection. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. LPAs met with Magdalena Rodriguez, Licensee who guided LPAs on a tour of the facility. LPAs observed 7 children with 3 staff members. Facility meets Staff/Child ratio. The purpose of the visit is to follow up on an incident that occurred on 03/11/24 and was reported to the department on 03/12/24 (reported timely). The self reported incident is regarding supervision/personal rights. During today's visit, LPAs toured the facility and interviewed Staff #1 (S1) and Staff #2 (S1). LPAs attempted to interview the children but they are all non-verbal. Based on LPA's interviews and observations, there were no tripping hazard in the play yard and facility met Staff/Child ratio during the time of the incident. There are no corroborating information to determine that a personal rights or supervision violation occurred. Therefore, the facility is not being cited any deficiencies today. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was provided to Magdalena Rodriguez, Licensee . A Notice of Site Visit was provided; Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 days.
