Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

LPA Peter Bishop arrived at the above facility for the purpose of an unannounced/case management visit at the request of Licensee Figueroa at 2:30 PM. Upon arrival LPA Bishop announced the purpose of the visit and was given a tour of the facility and LPA collected a census. There were 7 children present at the time of the visit. The children were waking up from their nap at the time of the visit as well. Licensee Figueroa had indicated to LPA Bishop at the last annual inspection on 03/19/2025 that she wanted to start using the outside patio area for the play area for the children. LPA informed Licensee that a new facility sketch would need to be submitted with new off limits areas indicated on the facility sketch. LPA collected a copy of the facility sketch upon arrival to the facility. Upon arrival, LPA Bishop observed the outdoor play area to have a perimeter vinyl plastic gate around the entire patio. LPA observed two exit doors on the gate. The doors were observed to be locked with masterlocks. There is sufficient shaded area for the children. LPA observed age appropriate toys and three tricycles as well as a basketball court and a doll house. Licensee indicated that she would remove the Play and Fold Treetop tower. LPA observed the Tree Top Tower to be removed. There were no hazards observed in the outside play area. LPA observed two cushion mats that will be used to protect children if they fall. Licensee indicated that she is purchasing more toys for the children and artificial grass and will send pictures upon completion. The front yard is no longer being used as the outside play area and there were no other changes made to the Facility Sketch. Licensee understands that all changes must be approved by Licensing before utilizing the space or area. LPA Bishop collected the new Facility Sketch and will be added to the Office File.
