What the inspector wrote

On October 20, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Case Management- Incident inspection at the above facility. LPA met with director, Aracely Ramirez who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. LPA observed 13 infants in care with 4 staff members and 15 toddlers with 5 staff members. The purpose of the inspection is to follow up on an epidemic outbreak of Hand, Foot and Mouth (HFM) that occurred at the facility. All cases were reported to the department in a timely manner. During the inspection, LPA obtained a roster of all the toddlers that contracted HFM. LPA inspection toys and cleaning solutions. LPA obtained relevant documentation from Department of Public Health. LPA observed play equipment that the toddlers use. LPA informed director that is it a best practice to avoid shared activities when HFM virus is spreading such as play doh, sand, moon sand, clay, any toys that are observed going into another child's mouth. Per director, everything was washed and disinfected. Per director all toddlers that contracted HFM have recovered and are back at the facility. There are no deficiencies being cited at this time. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was provided to the director along with Notice of Site Visit. Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 days.
