In regards to allegation staff did not provide day care children adequate amount of water. Staff # 1- 5 corroborated that children bring water bottles from home and water is refilled throughout the day. Per staff they use water pitchers- but the little land room has a water dispenser. Staff # 1 -7 corroborated that children are free to drink whenever they want to and have never denied water to children. LPA conducted interviews with parents and children. Parent’s statements corroborate that they bring water bottles from home which is then refilled throughout the day at the facility. Parent’s disclosed that they do not have any concerns. Children’s statements corroborated that they like their school and that they have their own water bottles, if they need more water they asked their teachers. Children corroborated that they have never been denied water by their teachers. This agency has investigated the complaint alleging Staff did not provide day care children adequate amount of water. Based upon the evidence as presented above, the allegation has been determined to be Unsubstantiated. A finding of Unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore at this time the above allegation is unsubstantiated. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
