What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Anomeh Eivazian conducted an unannounced case- management inspection to the above facility on 03/13/25 due to licensee is requesting to use the multi-purpose room as temporarily classroom during each classroom refurbishment. LPA arrived at the facility at 11:30 AM and met with Elisha Gonzalez, Executive Director who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. Fire Clearance to use the multi-purpose room as temporarily classroom for capacity 28 was granted on 03/12/25. Per letter that was received in Regional Office on 02/10/25, the refurbishment plan for all classrooms are moving forward and looking at a timeline that may last up to 6 months. Each classroom will be refurbished approximately every 1-2 weeks. Plan is each classroom will only be one week in temporary classroom, multi-purpose. The plan is to refurbish the millwork and countertops in each classroom only. Per Elisha Gonzalez, executive director, there will not be any changes in each classroom set up. Also, this refurbishment will not change the facility overall capacity. During this inspection LPA Eivazian toured the multi-purpose room and measured the indoor activity space in multi-purpose room. The total indoor activity space for the multi-purpose room measured for 1071.00 square footage, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 28 preschoolers. Per Elisha Gonzales, executive director, classroom which are in multi-purpose room during refurbishment plan will use the preschool outdoor bathrooms which are by classroom (13-14) and classroom (11-12). LPA informed Elisha Gonzales, executive director that staff are required to maintain direct visual supervision of the children at all times during indoor and outdoor activities. REPORT CONTINUES ON NEXT PAGE 1 OF 2 LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, napping cots, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Drinking water is available in the multi-purpose room via filter water dispenser and the child’s personal water bottle. LPA observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. Director was reminded that any changes to the facility must be reported to and approved by Community Care Licensing. LPA approved licensee to use the multi-purpose room during facility refurbishment plan for one class at a time for up to 28 children. At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Title 22 Regulations. Therefore, there are no citations being issued today from the areas that were inspected today. The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Elisha Gonzalez, Executive Director. REPORT END 2 OF 2
