What the inspector wrote

On 10/03/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mary Silva conducted an unannounced case management inspection to follow up on an incident reported to the department. Facility submitted written report on 08/25/2025. Upon arrival LPA met with Supervisor Vanessa Burgueno to whom the reason for the inspection was explained. This is a subsequent inspection to an incident that occurred on 08/19/2025 regarding a parent alleged a child’s personal rights were violated while in care. LPA was guided on a tour of the facility. Census was taken. LPA observed 65 children with 16 staff. During the investigation LPA conducted interviews with 5 staff regarding the allegation, and interviewed 2 daycare children. LPA obtained documentation in the form of facility roster, parent sign in and out sheet for the month of August 2025, photographs from the view of the outside window into the classroom and the indoor area by the bathroom where the alleged incident occurred. Based on the interviews conducted and information obtained during the investigation, it was determined that there was no violation of a child’s personal rights. Facility is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. The notice of site inspection must remain posted for a period of 30 days during hours of operation. Failure to maintain posting will result in a civil penalty of $100.00 dollars. Appeal rights were given. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Supervisor Vanessa Burgueno.
