Page 2 Per Interview with parent, she stated she notice on 03/03/2022, 03/04/2022 and 03/05/2022, bruises on her child’s body. Mom provided photos of three small different bruises below the child's waist. Mom stated she does not know if the child got from home or the day care but she thinks they look like her child was pinched. Mom stated she only spoke with the licensee about the bruise by the child's belly button. Mom said she did not bring up the other bruises to the licensee because she thought the child was fine after talking with the licensee about it and because the other bruises she notice and knew she was not taking the child back to day care because of the two weeks notice. Mom stated she was notified of other incidents that occurred in the day care with her child. Per Interview with the licensee, she stated she only knew about the bruise under the child's belly button during the first week of the month. Licensee stated the child was dropped off and when she notice the bruise was when she was changing the child's diaper and she felt it to make sure their was no bump and to see if the child had a reaction to her touching it. Licensee stated she waited to tell about the bruise she saw and asked grandma when the child was picked up if the child got that maybe from the car seat or anything and grandma said no. Licensee stated after she saw that bruise she would keep checking the child because she knew she had given the two weeks notice and mom was upset because of that. Licensee stated she never notice any other bruises after that one. Licensee gave LPA copies of text messages and photos between her and mom about any bruises the child had before the two weeks notice and of incidents that happened at the day care or incidents that happened at home. Licensee also provided photos and ouch reports of incidents that happened with the child in the day care and text that mom was notified every time. Based on the available information, and although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
