Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lilli Babcock conducted a Case Management-Deficiencies visit on 8/14/25 to address deficiencies revealed during a complaint investigation. LPA met with Licensee, Karla German to whom the reason for the visit was explained. LPA observed Licensee and one child present at the facility during this inspection. On 6/4/25, 7/28/25, and 8/14/25, LPA Babcock visited the facility to conduct a complaint inspection for the facility. Interviews conducted during the complaint investigation revealed Licensee's husband was caring for children while Licensee was away for a brief period, and Licensee's husband does not have the required Pediatric First Aid/Pediatric CPR Training or proof of measles or pertussis immunization to be caring for children while the Licensee is away from the home. Based on interviews conducted and records reviewed, the following deficiencies listed on the attached LIC 809D (deficiency page) are being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Deficiencies that are being cited need to be cleared to protect the children’s health and safety. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Karla German.
