What the inspector wrote

An announced pre-licensing follow up site inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cynthia Reyes, to reinspect and remeasure the requested Infant program for capacity determination. Applicant is requesting an Infant License with capacity of 06. Based on LPA measurements taken and observations of the facility on 05/09/2023, the measurements allow for 11 Infants indoors and 19 outdoors. Applicant is requesting a capacity of 06 Infants. Fire clearance is on file and approved for a capacity of 06 Infants. Corrections needed from the 05/09/2023 pre licensing inspection before this infant program can be licensed is, the napping area needs to be in closed by a 4 ft. sound proof patrician. Applicant build a 4ft wall to separate the napping area (Photos taken on this date) LPA observed and remeasured (Same measurements from 05/09/2023) the infant class room with the new napping area and the requested capacity of 6 Infants has been approved and will be licensed on this date. LPA discussed the Safe Sleep regulations with Applicant and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed Director of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment Exit interview conducted with applicant Cynthia Rodriguez, Education Coordinator, and a signed copy of this report was given on this date.
