What the inspector wrote

On December 4, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Staicy Perry conducted an unannounced case management inspection to follow up on a Plan of Correction related (1) Type B Deficiencies issued on September 29, 2025, for Title 22 regulati on 1597.16(a)(1) Lead Testing . LPA Perry met with Fonseca, Erica Teacher upon arrival. A census was conducted and LPA Perry observed 8 children in care. Facility director was unavailable. LPA obtained and reviewed all lead water testing documentation submitted by the facility. Per facility they are pending laboratory results for all required drinking water outlets as mandated by Title 22 regulations. LPA Perry advised that all licensed child care centers are required to conduct initial lead testing of drinking water outlets used for drinking or food-preparation purposes. Lead testing must be repeated every five (5) years, or sooner if directed by the Department or Water Board. Facilities must post Lead Testing Results in a visible area for parents and authorized representatives as well as notification of Lead Exceedances, if applicable. Additionally, LPA Perry informed facility that facility must maintain all records on site and make them available for review by Licensing. LPA also discussed the requirement for the facility to ensure timely retesting no later than five (5) years from the previous testing date. Erika, teacher understood and was bale to provide LPA will all required documents. Based on documentation review during inspection, the deficiencies cited on September 29, 2025, have been cleared. LPA Perry provided Fonseca, Erica Teacher with a Letter of Deficiency Citations Cleared. This letter must be retained on file for three (3) years and made accessible to the public upon request. No deficiencies were cited during today\342\200\231s visit. A copy of this report were provided to the licensee. An exit interview was conducted with Erika, and the Notice of Site Visit was issued and must remain posted for 30 days.
