Correction check·May 22, 2026

On 05/22/2026 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Mary Silva conducted an unannounced poc (plan of correction) inspection to ensured that the Type B deficiency cited on 05/06/2026 have been cleared. LPA met with director Sara Nava to whom the reason for the inspection was explained. LPA guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were no children present during this inspection. This inspection was conducted in Spanish. LPA reviewed a total of 8 staff files including file for licensee, at this time facility has 6 qualified staff to provide care and supervision to children in care. 1 director, 2 teachers, and 3 assistants. Per licensee childcare will be currently provided to infants and school age children. Monday-Friday from 6:00am-6:00pm. Licensee requested to place family child care home Nava Gonzalez Family Child Care inactive from 05/26/2026- 05/26/2027. LPA received copy of LIC 9211 from Ms. Nava. Reviewed requirements needed for staff and licensee. Licensee was reminded in order to operate the facility there must be qualified staff to meet the needs of children. LPA advised the licensee how to access forms, regulations and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing Website at: www.ccld.ca.gov LPA advised the licensee how to access forms, regulations and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing Website at: www.ccld.ca.gov . LPA cleared deficiency on this date and provided a copy of the Licensing Report to Sara Nava, licensee. LPA issued POC clearance letter during the visit. At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Therefore, no deficiencies are being cited. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director Sara Nava .
