What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alicia Mooberry conducted an unannounced POC visit on 02/02/23 at 1:00PM. LPA met with Licensee Diana Ordaz, who provided tour of home. LPA observed 5 children present including 2 infants alone with Licensee. The facility is observed to be within ratio and capacity limitations of the license. The purpose of the visit was to ensure the facility is following the ration and capacity limitations of the license. And to ensure Safe Sleep regulations are followed. This is a follow up to a licensing visit that was conducted on 01/12/23, there were 14 children present alone with licensee causing the facility to be over the capacity limitations. LPA reviewed the Capacity regulations with licensee and provided a printout with a visual aid. LPA reminded licensee that the capacity specified on the license shall be the maximum number of children for whom care may be provided at any one time. If no assistant provider is present at a Large Family Child Care Home, then the licensee shall comply with the capacity requirements for a Small Family Child Care Home LPA provided licensee with resources CCL Resources for Parents & Providers: https://ccld.childcarevideos.org/ LPA cleared deficiencies during the visit and provided a copy of the deficiency clearance letter. There were no deficiencies cited during today's visit. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee, Diana Ordaz.
