Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Based on the LPAs observations and interviews which were conducted and record review it was found that there is adequate supervision provided by two assistants based on verified work schedule and qualifications. Licensees states she is present however, per licensee she is the responsible party for pick up and drop off and errands for the daycare business and is gone 10-15 hours per week. Licensee states that she is present and always has adequate supervision for the kids. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. No deficiencies will be cited today 05/15/2024. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview was conducted with licensee Celeste Chan, including, but not limited to Provider Rights, Appeal Procedures and Agencies Consultative Role.

    Based on observation and licensee discussion, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed cleaning supplies in the childcare area bathroom above the toilet at time of inspection and in storage cabinets in nap area were accessible to children which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
