Pre-licensing visit·October 10, 2025

On 10/10/25 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Portia Bowden and Javier Duran conducted an announced prelicensing inspection at the above facility. At 9:00AM LPAs met with Licensee Latasha and were guided on a tour of facility. The purpose of this inspection was to follow up on corrections from previous Prelicensing inspection conducted on 8/27/25. Licensee has a current Large FCCH license and is relocating to this address. At 9:20AM LPAs observed a barn door secured by a latch and lockpad requiring a key separating onlimit daycare living room from offlimit kitchen. Per Licensee the kitchen is used for passing to the restroom and outdoor area. At 9:25AM LPAs observed kitchen knives stored under the kitchen sink, locked and secured by a key lock, inaccessible to children in care. At 9:30AM LPAs observed key locks on all cabinets throughout the kitchen, bathroom and hallway (linen closet). At 9:35AM LPAs observed a hanging cabinet containing labeled keys. Per Licensee she stores all keys for cabinets/doors here. Per Licensee at the start of the shift she and her assistant will obtain all keys and keep them on her person while working. At 9:40AM LPAs reviewed Licensee\342\200\231s Infant CPR/First Aid certificate exp 10/4/27 from the American Red Cross. At 9:40AM LPAs reviewed Licensee\342\200\231s Preventive Health and Safety Certificate with Nutrition and lead dated 6/10/20 from the American Red Cross. At 9:45AM LPAs reviewed a written plan of supervision from licensee pertaining to Adult resident in ADU located in the enclosed backyard. Per Plan Licensee will ensure that children in care have full supervision at all times. Per plan Licensee will ensure that adult resident has no contact with children. Per Licensee resident will not have visitors during daycare operating hours. Per Licensee Resident is her daughter and will obtain fingerprint clearance in the near future. Per Licensee Resident works 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday and will not be on the premises. A large Family Child Care Home license will be granted upon review by a Licensing Program Manager. Once licensed, the applicant is required to comply with the terms and limitations stated on the license. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Applicant- Latasha Trammell
