Facility-requested visit·May 24, 2024

On 05/24/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Priscilla Zamudio and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Cynthia Brannon conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection at the facility. LPA and LPM met with Site Supervisor, Ciara Debock. The purpose of the visit was to inspect a newly installed playground structure at the facility. The new play structure is in the same outside activity area that has been licensed for preschool children. The play structure was professionally installed and is properly anchored into the ground. LPA and LPM observed the structure was installed appropriately and no hazards were observed. There were no loose or pointed parts. There is rubber playground tile surfacing underneath the structure that adequately covers the fall zones. There is a large canopy above the playground structure and another permanent canopy over the covered sandbox that provides adequate shade. The play structure has age-appropriate stickers affixed to it. There is also a supervision sign that is placed near the play structure that indicates the play structure is for children 2-5 years of age. LPA advised Site Supervisor, Ciara Debock, effective immediately, the facility may begin using the new structure for preschool children. During today's inspection, LPA requested a director's packet to be sent to the Fresno Regional Child Care office. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. Exit interview was conducted with Site Supervisor Ciara Debock. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days.
