What the inspector wrote

On 10/21/2025 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Naves and Van conducted an unannounced case management inspection and met with Site Director, Diana Gonzalez and Senior Manager of Early Education and Compliance, Alisa Folda to follow up on an unusual incident reported to the Department. At the time of inspection, 28 staff were supervising 73 preschool children. The incident was self-reported to the Department on 10/10/2025. The incident occurred on 10/7/2025, involving a child walking out of the classroom while his mother attempted to sign him out and out of the building. Mother called for child to stop and come back but child only walked faster. Mother was eventually able to safely bring child back into classroom. Center will remind parents to keep door closed until ready to leave which is a already a center policy that they already have in place. Due to this being an isolated incident no deficiencies were cited. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. An exit interview was conducted, and the report and appeal rights were reviewed with Site Director Diana Gonzalez and Senior Manager of Early Education and Compliance Manager, Alisa Folda.
