What the inspector wrote

On August 22, 2025 at approximately 1:50pm Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Garcia and Quimbo arrived at the facility to conduct an announced follow up case management visit of the facility. LPAs met with Chief Program Officer, Kristina Sisseck, and Program Director, Paige Newton, and explained the purpose of the visit. Facility is currently licensed for 98 preschool children. License at facility has been on inactive status since January 2022 due to construction and renovation of the whole building. Chief program officer has requested to remove inactive status and increase capacity to 112 preschool children (2 years to kindergarten). Initial fire clearance for 112 preschool children was received on 08/13/2025. Per fire clearance, child care cannot be provided in the kitchen and admin areas. Based on the indoor square footage measurements conducted on 8/18/2025, the allowable maximum capacity is 107 children. The updated fire clearance for capacity of 107 preschool children was received on August 21, 2025. Chief program officer plans to resume operations at facility on August 25, 2025. LPAs conducted an initial case management visit on August 18, 2025. LPAs conducted a follow up visit to facility, today's date, to ensure physical plant's plan of corrections are complete. ***Continue to page 2*** ***Page 2 continued*** Based on today's LPA observations of the physical plant, the facility added the following: -Bells on all the exit doors -Window stoppers are installed for all classroom windows -Children's sinks are fully installed and functional -The adult sinks are installed with the counter tops -Child safety gates are installed at off limit areas During today's visit, LPAs observed adult sinks to be incomplete. Chief Program Officer states that video or picture verification will be sent to LPA by 08/24/2025. As of today's date, LPAs will remove the inactive status and approve capacity increase of 107 preschool children. No deficiencies were issued during today's visit. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with facility representatives, Kristina Sisseck and Paige Newton.
