Facility-requested visit·March 14, 2025

On March 14, 2025, LPA Garcia arrived at the facility for an unannounced case management visit per request by the licensee to add a day care room. LPA met with licensee and explained the purpose of the visit. Present during LPA visit included 8 children (4 infants and 4 children over 2) and licensees' 2 assistants. The licensee requested by sending an application and updated facility sketch to add the living room as a day care area, mainly used for napping and the documents were received at the RO on 3/3/25. All adults living and/or working in the home have fingerprint clearance on file. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Previous Day-care areas are : Bedroom #1, Foyer, Play room, Bathroom #1, and Front porch, all located upper level. Previous Off limit areas are: Kitchen, Bedroom #2, #3 and #4,Living/Dining Room and bathroom #2, #3, yard all located lower level and upper level deck. All off limit areas, including all closets, are properly barricaded. New Day Care Areas : Bedroom #1, Foyer, living room (nap area), Play room, Bathroom #1, and Front porch, all located upper level. Off Limit Areas: Kitchen, Bedroom #2, #3 and #4, and bathroom #2, #3, yard all located lower level and upper level deck. All off limit areas, including all closets, are properly barricaded. Home is equipped with a fully charged fire extinguisher, multiple first aid kits and multiple dual smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. LPA observed that the added living room has a carbon monoxide detector, baby gate, child proof door knob to the garage and a covered fire place. LPA advised the licensee to put child locks on the drawers and cabinets of the TV stand. As of today's date, the requested living room is approved to be used as part of the day care areas, mainly for napping. No deficiencies were issued during today's visit.
